Notice of Budget Hearing, Meeting of the Electors and November Monthly Board Meeting

 

The Town of Calamus Budget Hearing will begin at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at the Calamus Town Hall, W9820 County Hwy. D.

            After the budget hearing, a Special Town Meeting of the Electors will be called to order to set the 2025 town tax levy to be collected in 2026, pursuant to Sec. 60.01(1)(a) of Wis. Stats.

Following the special town meeting the Calamus town board will hold their regular monthly board meeting to act on the following agenda:  

  1. call to order,
  2. verify posting,
  3. Pledge of Allegiance,
  4. review agenda,
  5. minutes from October 15, 2025 monthly board meeting,
  6. treasurer’s report,
  7. questions or comments from town residents,

New Business:

  1. Discuss/decision on the 2026 budget,
  2. Discussion/decision on 2026 Humane Society Contract,
  3. Review of tax inserts,
  4. Dodge County update from County Supervisor John Kraus Jr.

Reports:  

  1. Public works report,
  2. Report from driveway inspector,

Other Business:

  1. Correspondence,
  2. Bills,
  3. any other business authorized by law,
  4. adjourn to December board meeting.

All meetings are open to the public and handicap assessable. If any special arrangements are needed, please contact the municipal clerk. Official notice has been posted as required by law.
